Description: Vintage Casio G-SHOCK DW-004 (1659) watch - New Battery works great USED. Note there maybe be a Compatibility issue with the lubricant grease I used and the case back gasket in this watch. Since I do not know what type of gasket material was used in this watch, I’m adding this note of caution. ***I cannot guarantee water resistance, Do to age of watch and condition of gaskets and seals – also see Read Note below and Description below that - Thanks ** Note there maybe be a Compatibility issue with the lubricant grease I used and the case back gasket in this watch. The grease that was used was ( Super Lube - Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2) with Syncolon® (PTFE) ) unfortunately I found out that this grease is not compatible with all gasket materials used in watches. Since I do not know what type of gasket material was used in this watch, I’m adding this note of caution. My suggestion is when you have the watch service next make sure to have the gasket inspected for its integrity, cleaned if able of old grease or replaced, remove all old grease from case back and case back cover and then have watch resealed with proper compatible grease and serviceable gasket.
